1983 RARE Atari 600XL Computer - Boxed and still sealed. This is the little brother to the 800XL, smaller in size and compatible in every way apart from the size of the RAM. Think of the 600XL as the upgraded Atari 400, but with in-built basic rather than a separate cartridge. Just like the Atari 400, the 600XL features 16K of RAM. Third party 32K Ram cartridges are pretty easy to find, which would make this computer compatible with all Atari 800 XL software. 

Part problems and high production costs meant this model sold terribly, estimates put sales at less than than 100K units worldwide. 

We recently bought this as part of a bigger lot of unsold stock left in storage by a Television Rental shop that closed down in 1989. Remarkably it is still sealed and has never been opened. Atari release their computers in card boxes with the side flaps glued down - this has not been tampered with or re-glued, this is genuine un-opened stock. 

As such it is not tested, and we will not accept as a return if you open the box. Check other listings for similar computers which have been opened and tested. 

As you can see in the photos, the outer box is in great shape, just light shelf / storage wear, and some associated retail stickers.
