1984 SUPER RARE OPD, or One Per Desk business computer. Developed by Sinclair, ICL and British Telecom. Inside it is a Sinclair QL, combined with a phone. Includes front facing dual microdrive cartridge slots, and a rom cartridge slot at the rear. Failed spectacularly, primarily because of a £1500 price tag, and problems with the power supply. This makes it one of the rarest Sinclair computers ever made, and already a fascinating museum piece.
This example is the original British Telecom Tonto branded version. Physically in good condition, the beige colour of the casing doesn't lend itself too looking good thirty years after it was made. Includes communications cartridge plugged into the rear, with telephone cables and handset. Could do with a thorough clean, but no damage or broken keys.
Computer only, we do not have a power supply for it, so sold as genuinely untested. Certainly a future museum piece.
